  • Specialized PPE and response equipment.

  • Training courses to maintain specialized capabilities.

  • Full-time hazard monitoring and response coverage for the region.

  • Salaries to retain full-time response staff and capabilities within the region (team members).

  • Team community preparedness initiatives such as public awareness courses, exercises/ drills, and pre-planning.

  • First Response agency collaboration, coordination, and cross-training opportunities and activities.
